JOIN the MUSE GALLERY and FOUNDATION For The Visual Arts

Professional artists applying for membership need to submit a current resume and a statement of purpose, 10 - 20 clearly marked slides, a slide identification sheet, and a SASE for the return of materials. Please complete the application and mail to :

New members are selected by a 3/4 majority vote of present membership on the basis of quality of work without restriction on style, theme or media.

Upon acceptance to MUSE, artist members must pay an initial fee. Thereafter they pay monthly dues, attend monthly meetings and staff the gallery once or twice a month. Full members are entitled to one solo show every 18 to 24 months plus participation in the annual group show, and all outside exhibitions representing the gallery.

Members are encouraged to continue exhibiting their work at other professional galleries and exhibition spaces.

MUSE also offers associate status to former members and artists living outside a 75 mile radius of Philadelphia.

MUSE Gallery is located in the heart of Old City, Philadelphia's Art Community,
at 60 North 2nd Street, between Arch and Market Streets.
Gallery hours are 12 - 5 p.m.
