Local Scene Writers Needed
We're in need of some new local scene writers to fill this section. Cover
the styles of music in which you have knowledge at clubs in your area and/or
clubs you attend frequently.

As a "Local Scene" writer, you choose the clubs and the bands you cover.
All you have to do is meet the writing deadlines. This is your opportunity
to help expose your area's best bands to a broader public and to the music

The Invisible Cities hand you a Martini of incandescent, angular
pop and moody vermouth. They've tossed in a punked-out olive, coaxed
it together with jazz refined swizzle sticks, and dumped it into a telecaster-imbued
glass.

Steve Goldberger & the Fringe Locals: A "gumbo-type" mix
of roots, country-rock, blues and folk. If you had to "label" his music
with that of other artists, you might be reminded of Bonnie Raitt, Jackson
Browne, Lucinda Williams or Little Feat with some Don Henley and Miles
Davis thrown in.

self-description of your band. (Be sure to tell us the home city
under which you'd like to be listed -- I know you gig in several cities
and hope to have fans worldwide, but just tell us where you live.) Then
