The Y2K Cinderella Project Secretariat is pleased to announce the "Y2k CORPORATE STATEMENT" campaign.

The objective is to persuade all Y2k stakeholders to advocate global adoption of the following statement :

THE Y2K CORPORATE STATEMENT

"This organisation
will adopt
the full
ISO8601 YYYY-MM-DD
date format for all
correspondence and reporting".

The purpose of this campaign is to provide visibility in Corporations (and hopefully within Governments) that a clear statement of direction, within a clearly defined timeframe, is needed to help coordinate and mandate Year 2000 remediation activities.

The ISO8601 YYYY-MM-DD approach provides a Global Y2K Solution spanning all languages and countries.

All Y2k stakeholders are cordially invited to participate in this campaign.

This "Corporate Statement" is hereby placed in the Public Domain, and may be freely used and distributed in any medium.
