Field Hockey Comes Out Swinging

Girls' field hockey has gotten off to a great start. Led by captains Katie Harris '98 and Anne Nelson '98, the varsity has a record of 1-2-2. JV has launched its season with an undefeated record of 3-0-1.

After beating Bishop McDevitt in the opening game, GA lost to Mount St. Joseph's in an exciting game on September 8th. GA tied the Peddie School after lagging for most of the game with a late game goal by Senior Christina Soldo.

Last Friday, GA played an intense game against Conwell Egan. The game ended in a 2-2 tie thanks to a late-game goal by Meghan O'Neill. The field hockey team has 10 more home games, so we hope and expect to see you out there.
