Ckinney replies...

My proficiencies target mainly 3d animation / shaping / lofting and have participated in many video shoots while working at Log Cabin Video in Houston Texas. We shot several training videos for the Federation of Locomotive Engineers. With photography as a background, I feel that we may be of valuable assistance with everything that does NOT include audio mixing and editing... Am extremely proficient in ALL other areas of video production...

Please feel free to visit our NEW web page at: http://www.iso.net/~ckinney to get an idea of what we are proficient in...
Please excuse the VERY low number of animators and lofters, this page has been up for an entirety of two days and we have multiples of persons to add already...
Thank you for your promptness and please e-mail any questions about the abilities listed on this page...

We just happen to be looking for some good locomotive video. In what formats (vhs tape, 8mm tape, avi or mov files on cdrom) could you get me some stuff??

Should we set you up with an ftp location or would you prefer to snail-mail?? I guess you would have some shots of a locomotive chugging down the tracks, as well as some shots within the cab of the engine??

Willie, who happens to live in New Mexico, is currently working on an animated cute little parakeet that flutters around the screen and then turns big and evil. Willie's email address is Jemezs@aol.com

Could you animate an american flag flying in the breeze, that then turns into an american eagle, which flies around, and...???
Possibly we could then make this eagle turn into that same evil parakeet for a second sequence, if we all collaborate.

We are also looking for greenpeace type footage of a something like a russian whaling vessel bringing in their harvest from the sea. This piece will be used in the video for the song "The Man Over There", which is about the fact that you can't expect everyone else to save the world.

I'll check out your home page. Have you had a chance to check out the roster??

First, a coupla announcements... new experimentors include:

Chris - his homepage (that he helped us build for his father) can be found at http://membrane.com/owens/

Rich - a compu-guru working with http://membrane.com/philanet/news/

c) CKinney - Whom I now little about, but I do see lots of animation and multimedia email flying around with the CKinney email address on it.

d) Krishna - programin' genious of compuserve's "wow" and our new searchable database (see http://lancelot.membrane.com/search.phtml)

e) Chuck - whose email address I know not... but, he is supplying us with jpegs (see http://membrane.com/video/chuck/) and video of things he makes that fly.

f) Rosemary... is a film wonder... and some of her thoughts seem to be in the same vein as the membrane domain.

For instance on multimedia funding for children's programing:

"... or as using right brain, left brain, rational, intuitive approaches to comment on each other and to also approach the issue of learning styles. These kinds of exhibition could be carried forward into the community by promoting actual live garage theatre in the neighborhoods and; therefore, involve job creation for a few teachers or guides. But onece again, on the level of deep structure these programs could serve as game plans to help generate pathways in business"

...and one of her "in the can" projects:

"A nineteen minute docu-drama which was recognized by the New York Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney for "capturing the duree of conscious,"(accomplished through a complex soundtrack and sensitive editing). It involves footage from the Short North just when renovation began, mixed with the attempted assasination of Reagan. It is poetic in nature, both capturing the essence of poverty and movement toward idiocy and sorery as well as an overall design that bespeaks in favor of renewal."

Help continues...

New stuph:

We're starting to put a new project together called "Yore Killin' Me"

Whereas the multimedia files created for the Labyrinth are more self contained...
Killin' Me is hmmm... more like a 74 minute "film".

The basic webpage address is http://membrane.com/yore/
We've started working on all the pages that will go behind it (and would love some help)!!!!!

We need:
1) Graphics
a) Graphics for the rom cover - we have pressed some cd's of the music and need graphics for a cd cover that reflect the name of the album "Yore Killin Me"
b) Graphics to be used as we start painting the picture on top of the music.
c) Graphics for the web site, including backgrounds, etc.
d) Graphics stickers for on the actual cd.

2) We would appreciate help in the multimedia dept with these concepts:
a) John Wayne saying "Wagons ho!"
b) The indian in the that old pollution commercial with the tear drop
c) Farm plows plowing the fields under
d) Young man pulling himself up by the bootstraps
e) Space animation of the world getting distorted and abused
f) Anything that shows the concept of dualism
g) Non copyright questionable morphs of Walt Disney's "Alice in Wonderland"... in particular where Alice says "Oh, Dear" (see http://membrane.com/cdrom/music/dear.wav)

Please let us know how you can help!
