Course: CADVANSYS MicroStation Basics (2D level I)

Course Description:

The purpose of this course is to familiarize the students with the fundamentals of

MicroStation as a productive design and drafting tool. The course will be divided

into lectures and hands-on laboratory exercises. Students are encouraged to

develop specific design methodologies for their individual design and drafting

requirements. Major topics include element creation and manipulation, fence and

group manipulation, text placement and editing, patterning, level management

and control, cell creation and use of cells in production, plotting and screen

tutorials.

Enter Data Fields Level Structures and Menus

Cell Creation Plotting Configurations

Normal Cells and Point Cells Absolute and Relative Placement

Cell Manipulation Active Points

Each attendee is assigned a Dual Monitor workstation with the latest version of

MicroStation. Class size is limited to eight students. Training manuals are included and a

personalized training Certificate is issued at the completion of the class. Larger

classes sizes, training at other locations, and customized course material is available

under a separate price quotation. CADVANSYS is an authorized MicroStation training

center.
